Alpha Omega (University of Arizona)

Steven M. Savlov, 1967, is a retired neuro and clinical psychologist after 45 years. Now he travels with his wife, Suzanne, and has made multiple trips to Europe. On his last trip they spent a month in Italy to celebrate 50 years. Since Brother Savlov’s retirement, he’s become a full-time Shambhala Buddhist which has had a profound effect on how he lives his life. He is teaching meditation which he used in his pain management practice. Namaste.

Robert Kline, 1965, is proud to announce the birth of his first granddaughter, Aliyah Maddyson Kline, born in San Francisco, Calif., to eldest son, Garrett B. Kline.

Harry Koehler, 1978, is building a new home in Meridian, Idaho, just outside of Boise. He’s excited to move into the house with this family this summer.

Craig Mason, 1988, started Mason Technology, an IT consulting firm focused on IT security, project management and Microsoft program initiatives. He also continues his philanthropic efforts and is in his 29^th year bicycling 150 miles in two days for Multiple Sclerosis. Last year his team, Team Coneheads, raised $74,000 to fight MS.

Norman Waas, 1982, was elected as Vice President of the Miami Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

Michael Weissberg, 1989, has announced his candidacy for The Village of Palmetto Bay Council. Brother Weissberg is a trustee of the Alpha Omega Chapter and has been a part of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity for 32 years.

Delta Iota (University of Central Florida)

Brandon M. Goldberg, 2011, proposed to his girlfriend, Julie Bunson, on Jan. 28. The happy couple anticipate a spring 2019 wedding.

Paul Feiwell, 1964, has been working in commercial-industrial real estate since the early 1970s, primarily in California but also in Arizona and Nevada. He’s closed thousands of transactions as a broker and as owner. He’s also a leasing agent and property manager of over 300,000 square feet of office, retail and apartment properties. He carries broker licenses in California and Nevada and has represented many national and international companies. He’s currently a commercial broker with Pacific Union International and offices in Beverly Hills, Calif..

Steven Wollack, 1963, will be speaking about protecting seniors from financial scams at the Edgebrook branch of Chicago Public Library during Money Smart Week.

Current undergraduate brothers are living the tenets of our Credo , and got media attention for it, as they engaged their community to help raise over $19,000 for their house mom who lost her husband and home to a fire.

Brock Cavett, 2016, last fall received his first full-time job serving as the Dance Marathon Coordinator at the University of Iowa, the second largest dance marathon in the country benefitting Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. During his first six months in the role, he put on a big event where they revealed they raised just over $3 million, only the second school in the nation to do so.

Brian I. Pultman, 1983, was named as one of the Top 1,200 Financial Advisors in the nation by Barron’s for 2017 and 2018. Wells Fargo Advisors named Brian a Premier Advisor – Chairman’s Council, the firm’s highest recognition level.

In addition, he is also selling accessories, making repairs and taking trade-ins. Through his Apple-related expertise, dedication to customer service, and always-improving ability to offer the best deals on pre-owned Apple equipment, he has watched the company’s reputation and level of success grow steadily since inception.

Brothers bonded while building a sukkah with Rabbi Zev Johnson, the rabbi of Chabad on campus. Sukkot is translated as the “Feast of Tabernacles” and is celebrated by eating in a booth-like structure called a sukkah. One of the customs of Sukkot is to welcome guests in to your sukkah. Rabbi Zev Johnson invited ZBT brothers to achieve the mitzvah (commandment) of building a sukkah. Rabbi Zev shared what Sukkot means to him and the significance of building a sukkah. The Lambda brothers worked together to construct the sukkah and bonded over matzah-ball soup, bagels, lox and Hebrew music.

Wisconsin

Joel Glass, 1967, made his first gift to the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation 50 years ago. When asked why he has supported the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation all of this time, Brother Glass responded, “Probably for the same reason one supports organizations and institutions that have meaning to them and have worthwhile goals.” Thank you Brother Glass for helping to make Brotherhood for a Lifetime a reality and for your support of the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation!
