Finding a new home with ZBT National Housing
Issue: Fall 2021
By ZBT National Housing
As colleges and universities begin the fall 2021 semester, ZBTs everywhere have been packing, moving into their chapter houses and reuniting with their brothers. This is the culmination of the busiest time of the year for ZBT National Housing as we work to make this process smooth and prepare the chapter houses for a safe and fun year!
This year has brought additional excitement as we have added two new ZBT houses to our portfolio at the University of Southern California and the University of Florida.
Earlier in 2020, ZBT National Housing assisted with the purchase of a house at the University of Southern California for the Alpha Delta Chapter (pictured left). We want this incredible property to be at its best for both current and future brothers, so it is currently under renovation to prepare it for ZBT brothers moving in soon. In the interim, we assisted the chapter in renting an off-campus house so they can enjoy the community space.
At the University of Florida, having a quality house (pictured top) historically has helped the Alpha Zeta Chapter be incredibly strong, boasting 150 plus men. Because of this, ZBT National Housing felt strongly about supporting this group in acquiring an on-campus chapter house. With just fewer than 30 leases already signed for the fall despite recruitment limitations in 2020, we are excited to see this house bolster a strong and growing Alpha Zeta Chapter. ZBT National Housing is assisting the chapter with lease collection, vendor relationships and overall property management. Our presence at the university also provides us an excellent opportunity to purchase a house or property on the campus in the future, establishing a ZBT National Housing presence for the Alpha Zeta Chapter for years to come.
In keeping with our mission, we are always looking for opportunities to support our brothers in their search for housing solutions. This not only includes acquiring properties, but also through areas like property management, consultation on leases, vendor partnerships and loans and guarantees.
As we start the 2021-2022 academic year, we look forward to continuing partnerships with existing chapters and continue to seek out opportunities to support the Fraternity and its chapters through creative housing solutions.
