The Zeta Beta Tau Foundation is proud to announce the election of Brothers E. Mark Fishman, Alpha Rho (University of California-Los Angeles) 1979, and Brett A. Leone, Zeta Alpha (Florida State University) 2011, to the Board of Directors.

Brothers Fishman and Leone will serve a minimum of a three-year term and help fulfill the mission of assisting alumni and collegiate brothers of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity by funding scholarships and academic and leadership programs to maximize their personal development and prepare them to be leaders of society.

Brother Fishman is a partner of Actuaries Unlimited, Inc., which he joined in 1982 after graduating from UCLA and earning a master’s degree from Loyola Marymount University. In addition to running a successful consulting practice, Brother Fishman teaches actuarial classes for the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries and lectures for CPA and CFP continuing education seminars and conferences. When he is not fostering an industry-wide reputation as a go-to expert in retirement plans, he enjoys attending sporting events, drinking wine and listening to the Beatles. Brother Fishman has two grown sons and lives in Sherman Oaks with his partner, Carrie.

“Being part of the Alpha Rho Chapter totally changed my college experience,” Brother Fishman shared. “It’s important for me to be part of the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation Board of Directors because of the work the organization does to combat hatred and stereotypes of all religious and ethnic groups. If we can change how people think about stereotypes and hateful attitudes towards Jews and others, then they can teach their children who can then in turn teach their children and eventually eradicate these toxic ways of thinking.”

Brother Leone is a senior planner for the City of Palm Beach Gardens and a licensed real estate agent. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida State University. Brother Leone currently lives in Florida with his wife and twin boys.
