Missing ZBT? Join an Alumni Association!
Issue: Fall 2022
The energy of our Brotherhood for a Lifetime is strong in 2022. Brothers are reaching out about rebuilding connections to each other and to ZBT. Two of the Fraternity’s largest alumni associations have had multiple successful events in 2022.
New York Area
A June happy hour in midtown Manhattan was well-attended, with more than 20 brothers connecting at Stout Penn Station. In early October, brothers gathered at a driving range on a Friday evening.
NYAAA has an event planned this week! Get in the holiday spirit as Zeta Beta Tau brothers will have a fun, casual mixer with the Kappa Kappa Gamma New York Alumnae group at a Midtown restaurant.
- Date: Friday, Dec. 2
- Time: 7 p.m.
- Where: Draught 55, 245 E 55th St, New York, NY 10022.
- Cost: None to attend. Light refreshments will be available included, and a full service menu is available to attendees for purchase.
- Organizer: Brother Robert (Bobby) F. Smith, Delta Omicron (University of Tampa) 2017. Reach him at smith.robertf5@gmail.com.
- RSVP: Click here.
More events will be planned soon, particularly leading up to and during the 2023 International Convention at Grand Central Station. Visit zbt.org/nyc.
Brother Robert (Bobby) F. Smith, Delta Omicron (University of Tampa) 2017, is based out of Long Island and is the organizer of recent events. Reach him at smith.robertf5@gmail.com. We encourage you to connect with the NYAAA on social media via LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram as well.
Southern California Area
This group’s first event post-pandemic was in late September. More than 25 brothers attended a social gathering at a restaurant, with dozens more expressing interest in future events.
The group’s executive board is determining what next event will draw the most interest. If you’d like to be connected, email Brother Heath B. Goldman, Alpha Omicron (University of Arizona) 1992, at heathg@iconwlp.com. Brother Goldman is based in Sherman Oaks. When set, additional information will be available at: zbt.org/volunteers/alumni-associations/socal.
In a different area?
ZBT has growing alumni associations in Boston, Chicago, South Florida, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta — and we’re open to more. If you are interested in getting involved with an already established alumni club, or would like to be a part of starting a new one, please contact ZBT International Headquarters at zbt@zbtnational.org or (317) 334-1898. Many chapters also have local area alumni clubs, reunions and activities for specific brother groups. We hope you utilize these connections. Brotherhood for a Lifetime!
