ZBT is proud to share more on the return of the Zeta Alpha Prospective Chapter at Florida State University this fall.

Seventeen new brothers are in the initial Founding Father class. This is the highest number of accepted bids among all expansion chapters at FSU in Fall. The FSU community continues to grow with another expansion happening next year by another IFC fraternity.

The chapter is a diverse group of leaders who are eager to hit the ground running. Zeta Alpha also has a tremendous advisory board to assist the chapter as they begin their journey to chartering. A local housing corporation will assist Zeta Alpha in housing efforts once the chapter has been further developed.

We’re excited to have a legacy among the new brothers, Zachary E. Marks, 2027, the Chapter’s Operations Director. He is the son of Adam M. Marks, Epsilon Nu (State University of New York – Oneonta) 1989, and brother to Andrew E. Marks, Zeta Alpha (Florida State University) 2014. The family is based in Davie, Florida.

Zach Marks as well as Gavin P. Tedder were able to attend 2023 International Convention in New York City as early representatives of the re-founded chapter, learning about the Brotherhood as delegates and meeting a wide variety of brothers from around the country.

The new Chapter President is Brother Tedder, 2025, from Sewalls Point, Florida. Completing the Executive Board are Braydon Repsold, 2027, Risk Prevention & Wellness Director, from Hawthorn Woods, Illinois; Garrett Lyon, 2026, Brotherhood Development Director, from Panama City, Florida; Luis Mendez, 2026, Programming Director, from Sanford, Florida; Nolan Faussett, 2025, Standards Director, from Tallahassee; Rob Wilbur, 2025, Communication Director, from Tallahassee; Ryan Henderson, 2026, Recruitment Director, from Redington Shores, Florida; and Will Godfrey, 2024, Finance Director, from Vero Beach, Florida.
