Note: ZBT brothers faced climates alight with antisemitic activity and pro-Palestinian student groups through the one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 attacks. Some typical chapter activities may have been changed or delayed due to security concerns.

Alabama
The Psi Chapter prioritizes Intellectual Awareness. Ten brothers made the President’s List for the Spring 2024 semester with a 4.0 GPA. Three brothers earned Zeta Beta Tau Foundation scholarships, for $12,500: Jack Stokley, 2026, Benjamin Cooper, 2026, and Ian McMillin, 2025.
The Chapter is fully back in good standing with the University. Recruitment results were very successful, with 40 new brothers, including 14 legacies. They joined a University of Alabama Greek Programming Board book drive in September and had some strong social events.
Arizona
Alpha Omicron (University of Arizona)
ZBT intramural football team won the league championship in October. Eighteen brothers had 4.0 GPAs in the spring semester. Brother Blake Miller is Vice President Programming for the Interfraternity Council. Read more on the new Hall of Fame at the house here.
Gamma Tau (Arizona State University)
More than a quarter of the chapter was on the Dean’s List for the spring semester.
Summer was full of skydiving, watersports, golf, travel and time with brothers.
A group of brothers volunteered to pack meals for Feed My Starving Children, an organization that ships food for needy children around the world.
California
Alpha Delta in Southern California
Brothers are very involved with Jewish campus life, attending events at Hillel and Chabad. The Chapter has an active social calendar. Brothers joined with Alpha Rho at UCLA to take part in a regional ZBT sponsored Combatting Antisemitism Program. Read more on recent renovations at the chapter house here.
Alpha Eta (University of California, Berkeley)
The group was named ZBT’s Best Prospective Chapter for 2024, and celebrated their chartering in fall.
Recruitment events included casino night, broomball and barbecue, resulting in 21 new brothers joining the chapter.
Alpha Rho (University of California-Los Angeles)
Brothers joined with Alpha Delta at USC to take part in a regional ZBT sponsored Combatting Antisemitism Program. Their alumni hosted a house dedication event in May.
Beta Lambda (San Diego State University)
The Chapter has been under a suspension from the university that has limited events and programs. ZBT International Headquarters has visited the Chapter and provided ongoing support through this process as we work to resolve the suspension.
Eta Upsilon (Santa Clara University)
Brothers enjoy extreme activities, outdoors and water sports. Brotherhood events included dye tournament, hiking, swimming and ZBTahiti event. Recruitment was very strong, with 37 new brothers joining the Chapter in fall.
Gamma Beta (California State University-Northridge)
The Chapter had a cowboy-themed philanthropy in October called ZBThrowdown and a Halloween party, ZBTerror. Alumni joined for a Thanksgiving dinner at the house. Recruitment results were exciting, with 43 new brothers joining the Chapter in fall.
Gamma Xi (University of California-Santa Barbara)
Past Chapter President Nicholas L. Broms, 2025, was among the Chapter Presidents of the year for campus. Christian Braum is an officer, Vice President of Investment Fund, with TAMID Group.
Eta Mu (California Polytechnic State-San Luis Obispo)
The Chapter continues their service relationship with local Hawthorne Elementary. Fall events included a car wash to support underprivileged students and school programs. Brothers enjoy outdoors activities, watersports, and intramural football and soccer.
Colorado
Beta Alpha Theta (University of Colorado Boulder)
Family weekend was in late October. Brothers planned fall pumpkin carving and tailgate for their families. In September, they hosted a ZBTahiti event for the first time in recent years. Recruitment events like cookout and house tours resulted in 31 new brothers joining Beta Alpha Theta.
Iota (University of Denver)
A snowy day in November was a call for brotherhood bonding – brothers made a snowboard luge in the house’s backyard. Get on the Ball was in early October.
Brothers Nihal Padhy, 2025, and Xander Verity, 2025, spent a few days in New York in early December as a part of their Walk Down Wall Street course at DU.

Connecticut
Eta Omicron (Quinnipiac University)
Brothers supported several sorority philanthropy events this fall, including co-hosting a dodgeball tournament for dogs in need at the Where The Love Is Animal Shelter in December.
District of Columbia
Beta Psi (American University)
Brothers hosted a tennis fundraiser to support the medical needs of Brother Zachary Slice, who has an aggressive brain tumor. The Chapter raised over $2,000 to go towards his fight against brain cancer.
Phi Alpha Alpha (The George Washington University)
Brothers are very involved across campus, supporting fellow Greek events and Jewish community life, like Chabad events.
Delaware
Epsilon Theta (University of Delaware)
Brothers had a great retreat at the beach in mid-November. In late October, they learned about mental health at a local safe haven for youth. Recruitment went very well, with 24 new brothers joining the chapter inf fall.
Florida
Alpha Zeta (University of Florida)
Alpha Zeta has hosted several educational programs in the Chapter, including antisemitism awareness. Operations have improved as the chapter grows, with a bigger committee structure to engage more brothers. Intramural softball was a successful team for the Chapter.
Brothers are very involved on campus, particularly in clubs around their majors and supporting sorority programs. Aidan Coffey, 2025, is Disability Affairs Director for UF Student Government.
Alpha Omega (University of Miami)
As a professional development session, the undergraduates hosted several directors from a consulting firm to discuss business and career practices.
The Chapter partnered with Students Supporting Israel to host an IDF hero, Yaron Porter, as a heritage event in November at the house.

Delta Iota (University of Central Florida)
Delta Iota continues to Excel in intramural sports, winning the Greek Cup with championships in soccer, volleyball and pickleball. Brothers are very supportive of sorority events and Jewish community activities such as with Chabad. Get on the Ball and Gift of Life swab drive are planned for spring.
Delta Omicron (University of Tampa)
Recruitment events like lawn games and a barbecue resulted in 24 new brothers joining the Chapter this fall. Brother Kevin Rich ran a local marathon on behalf of cancer research, and his finish time qualified him for the 2025 Boston Marathon.
The new Chapter President is Ayden Schnell, receiving the gavel from Kyle Scallan.
Gamma Chi (University of South Florida)
The fall philanthropy event raised over $6,500 for partners. Gamma Chi is very supportive of other campus Greek activities and fundraisers. Intramurals are popular like flag football and dodgeball. Seventeen new brothers joined the Chapter in fall.
Zeta Alpha (Florida State University)
Parents Weekend in September included a FSU football game tailgate. Formal was a weekend trip to New Orleans, and at Halloween they hosted a ZBTerror event. Philanthropy events supported Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Jewish Women International.
Georgia
Eta Lambda (Emory University)
The Chapter highest GPA among IFC on campus in spring and won an intramural basketball league. Brothers are very engaged with Chabad at Emory.
Xi (Georgia Institute of Technology)
Recruitment support is needed at Georgia Tech. If you know any students who might make good ZBTs, please submit a referral at ZBT.org/refer.
Illinois
Rho (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)
In October, for Dads Weekend, the chapter had an event called Rock Against Cancer in support of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with live music, food and drinks at the Chapter house’s back lot.
DJ Josephson and Robbie Black won the Interfraternity Council two-man scramble in September. They won $500 to send to charity of their choice, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. A team of Zeebs made it to the Final Four in the 2024 IFC Philanthropy Basketball Tournament at the State Farm Center.
Gamma (Northwestern University)
The Chapter hosted ZBT’s Combatting Campus Antisemitism program in October, and continue to be very involved with the campus Jewish community and Hillel. After significant required renovations and challenges, Gamma Chapter is back in the house.
Delta Lambda (Monmouth College)
Brothers have raised funds for Movember, JWI and Children’s Miracle Network this fall. Brothers love bowling, pickup basketball, sand volleyball and video games.
Recently, Delta Lambda attended a Shabbat service at Temple Shalom. They learned a lot from Rabbi Jenny about Reform Judaism and how a typical service is run and enjoyed some great traditional Jewish food.
Six brothers were initiated into Order of Omega, the most of any Greek Organization on campus! Congrats to Jaydon Wilbon, Logan Serpette, Joey Twardowski, Rylan Marr, Jeff Schnetzler and Braden Schnarre.
Indiana
Alpha Alpha (Purdue University)
Brothers attended many events at Chabad in the fall, starting with the Welcome Shabbat and continuing through several holidays. Teams of brothers had fun with a 3v3 basketball tournament in August. Paintballing and canoeing are bonding activities.
Brother Lucas Ford, 2025, was named a 2024-25 Purdue Engineering Fellow, among the sixth class since its beginning. Each student receives $25,000 when they graduate to use however they would like in recognition of their hard work and outstanding innovations.
The Chapter reported 1,847 community service hours last spring, or about 13 hours per brother.
Beta Gamma (Indiana University Bloomington)
On the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, brothers from Beta Gamma completed 110 flights of stairs to commemorate the heroes lost in 2001. The Chapter hosted ZBT’s Combatting Campus Antisemitism program in mid-September and are active in supporting IU Dance Marathon.
Much like Hoosier football, ZBT’s Greek Basketball Association league team went undefeated well into the season before ultimately making a playoff exit.
Kansas
Epsilon Mu (University of Kansas)
Brothers are very involved across campus, with club sports and groups related to their majors being the most popular. Recruitment went well, with 33 new brothers joining in fall. Family weekend was in late October with a great turnout from parents and loved ones.
Kentucky
Alpha Iota (University of Kentucky)
The Chapter has navigated some challenges starting this summer. Their focus has been on recruitment and brotherhood building, and nine new brothers joined in fall. Brothers are active on campus, supporting other groups’ events and serving as leaders in student organizations.
Louisiana
Sigma (Tulane University)
A group of brothers took part in a 5K race that ended at the Superdome in September. The Chapter hosted ZBT’s Combatting Campus Antisemitism program in mid-September. They are very active with Chabad, including raising funds to support an expansion of the center.
Maryland
Beta Zeta Epsilon (University of Maryland – College Park)
Get on the Ball fundraiser was in early November. The Chapter raised over $1,500 with all proceeds going to the Children’s National Hospital in Washington D.C.
Eight new initiates joined the Chapter after enjoying a barbecue and good time meeting brothers. ZFL chapter football league is going strong! Fall MVP was Aidan Rubinger and
Super Bowl MVP was Jaime Hazan-Cohen.
Eta Kappa (Towson University)
Get on the Ball was last week of September, raising $500 for Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital. The Chapter also partnered with Phi Mu to have a fundraising trivia night to benefit CMNH. Dance the Madness brought together the fraternity and sorority community at Homecoming. ZBT was partnered with Alpha Phi.
Brothers are involved in a variety of clubs, particularly sports, and several have jobs in the Towson community.
Massachusetts
Xi (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)
Brothers spend a lot of quality time together, in the gym, playing games, enjoying the outdoors and studying. Recruitment events included more games, lots of food, paintball and minigolf, resulting in 12 new brothers.
Omicron (Tufts University)
The Chapter was featured in a compelling article in the student newspaper about the hard work brothers completed as they returned from a social probation. ““[This will] hopefully create a really nice comfortable environment for [new members] that want to come join the fraternity next year,” Brother Samuel Goldstone, Risk Prevention and Wellness Director, said in the article. Theta Alpha (University of Massachusetts-Amherst)
In mid-September, Get on the Ball raised funds for Baystate Children’s Hospital. Campus police stopped by to support the chapter.
Brothers love football – they were campus IM flag football champs, and often host viewing parties. Recruitment events included football as well as barbecues, games and more. Twelve new brothers joined in fall!
Epsilon Phi (Brandeis University)
The Chapter hosted recruitment events like a tailgate, yard games, mixer with a sorority and poker night. Brothers are involved in the campus Jewish community.
Gamma Psi (Northeastern University)
The Chapter is very philanthropic, raising funds for Relay for Life, Sharsheret and the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation. They had a Gift of Life swab drive. Ten new brothers joined the Chapter after a barbecue event, dodgeball, games and casino night. Brotherhood events included paintball, beach time and a retreat.
Michigan
Beta Epsilon (Michigan State University)
Brothers had a Labor Day weekend cookout alongside recruitment events in late August. Other recruitment events included casino night and dye tournament, football and more barbecue. Six new brothers joined in fall.
Phi (University of Michigan)
This Prospective Chapter officially returns in winter 2025! To assist this new group, alumni and friends can recommend future Michigan brothers at ZBT.org/refer.
Missouri
Alpha Xi (Washington University-St. Louis)
Brothers welcomed potential initiates to watch sports as a recruitment event. In early November they had a brotherhood retreat and a Gift of Life swab drive. The chapter is continuing to focus on recruitment and retention while a new housing facility is under discussion.
Omega (University of Missouri)
Eight brothers joined in fall after recruitment events including casual volleyball, pickup basketball, cookout and a nice dinner. The Chapter was paired with Farmhouse, Sigma Tau Gamma and Phi Mu for Homecoming. Brothers attend Hillel events regularly and hosted a Gift of Life swab drive in mid-November.
Omega alumni led a workshop with the chapter about ZBT history and Jewish heritage. The Chapter also partnered with Hillel and Chabad to co-sponsor a vigil in memorial of Oct. 7, 2023.
New Jersey
Beta Delta (Rutgers State University of New Jersey)
Beta Delta was represented at several student networking fairs and at Hillel during fall recruitment season. Chapter-specific events included NFL viewing parties, cookouts and yard games.
In October, brothers volunteered for a full week at a local food pantry, sorting donations, organizing meals and more. They also spent time with a child from the Embrace Kids Foundation, supporting the non-medical needs of children with cancer and other serious medical disorders.
Epsilon Tau (Fairleigh Dickinson University-Madison)
Brothers looking good at Meet the Greeks early in the fall. They hosted a Gift of Life swab drive service event in mid-November, took part in a hazing prevention activity and are very busy on campus supporting other Greek organizations and clubs. The Chapter had an alumni event in early November.
New York
Gamma (New York University)
The brothers selected a theme for recruitment this year, in the style of the Olympics. Games and ceremonies were held in September, resulting in 16 new brothers earning a “gold medal” and joining ZBT! In October, a brother won NYU Dance Marathon’s Mr. and Ms. FTK contest with Delta Phi Epsilon. NYDM partners with The B+ Foundation to support children with cancer and their families.
Kappa (Cornell University)
Homecoming events at Edgecliff, the Chapter house, were a big hit, with a huge backyard concert and Cornell’s first Homecoming football win in several years.
An Interfraternity Council barbecue kicked off the fall. The IFC also hosted a philanthropy week in November.
Omicron (Syracuse University)
Brothers had a great Sukkot with Chabad, shaking the lulav and helping build the sukkah.
Delta Zeta (Pace University)
Brothers took part in an important Safe Smart Dating presentation with the Pace Sigma Delta Tau Chapter early in the Semester.
Epsilon Delta (Binghamton University)
Brothers participated in a fraternity and sorority community-wide drive collecting hygiene items and school supplies for the Broome County school district. Family Weekend was in early October, with a bonfire and community-wide leadership conference focused on prevention education with keynote speaker Dr. Lori Hart.
Epsilon Nu (State University of New York-Oneonta)
The Chapter hosted a spikeball tournament on the union field on the first day of September. Several brothers shared a mini weekend retreat at Brother Andrew Cagno’s home farm. They host philanthropy events to support Children’s Miracle Network through the year. Epsilon Nu had a very successful Gift of Life swab drive in September with more than 250 people in attendance.
Eta Iota (State University of New York-Plattsburgh)
The Eta Iota Prospective Chapter partnered with the Fraternity & Sorority Life Office and The Center for Student Involvement to host an on-campus music festival called Zeebstock. The intent of the festival was to highlight local, independent bands from New York and Vermont. Some of the bands that played were Imperia, Us, Tyler Serrani, Pstreet Bandits, and Eta Iota Chapter President Brother Logan Toleman’s own band, Reverse The Grin.
The Chapter earned the Pillar of Excellence in Scholarship from the Fraternity and Sorority Life office. The office said ZBT’s dedication to academic achievement shines with the highest GPA among fraternities on campus. “Through their innovative study program and commitment to success, they continue to set the standard. Keep up the great work, ZBT!”
Brotherhood building activities at Eta Iota include game nights, barbecues and pitch-in meals, fireside chats to tell personal stories and a weekly casual ZBT soccer game. Three new brothers joined the Chapter in fall, taking part in similar recruitment events.
Delta (Columbia University)
Recruitment support is needed at Columbia in the highly charged campus climate. The Delta Chapter is looking to bounce back from several challenges. If you know any students who might make good ZBTs, please submit a referral at ZBTDelta.com or ZBT.org/refer.
North Carolina
Eta Xi (University of North Carolina at Charlotte)
Letters have gone up at the fraternity house where Eta Xi brothers are residing.
Parents Weekend tailgate over Sept. 14. Congratulations to the Brothers who were intramural touch football champions for the fall! Beach weekend formal was in late October. Read more on the chapter here.
Eta Sigma (Elon University)
Get on the Ball was hosted over Halloween. Earlier in October, a team of brothers took home the chip in the intramural 3 vs. 3 soccer league.
Ten new brothers joined the fall after spending quality time with current ZBTs.
Alpha Pi (The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill)
Welcome to the brothers of this newly re-established chapter. They have started to get involved on campus as a Fraternity by participating in Interfraternity Council and sorority events and hosting philanthropy work. They had a fun brotherhood retreat in November.
The Chapter hosted a Holocaust educational program in November called Resilience and Remembrance! in conjunction with UNC Hillel, Chabad, Heels for Israel, and the Carolina Center for Jewish Studies.

Ohio
Lambda (Case Western Reserve University)
Brothers volunteered with Fresh Fest in September, a community event that encourages neighborhood and local cultural unity and wellness. The ZBTerror event in October with a haunted house and other spooky elements supported University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital.
Ten new brothers joined the chapter in fall, enjoying recruitment events like pickup basketball, poker night, rock climbing, Topgolf and an escape room.
Pennsylvania
Theta (University of Pennsylvania)
The chapter facility will be undergoing renovations shortly. Recruitment is a priority as the chapter looks to keep the renovated house full. If you know any students attending Penn who might make good ZBTs, please submit a referral ZBT.org/refer.
After some operational challenges, they are almost back to being in good standing with the Fraternity. The University has been supportive of the group as the Penn campus navigates ongoing antisemitic activity.
Alpha Nu (Muhlenberg College)
Recruitment events in early September included casual sports, video games and lots of good food. Three new brothers have joined Alpha Nu so far in fall. Get on the Ball was in mid-October in a partnership with Phi Mu. The Chapter hosted an alumni weekend in mid-September.
Alpha Psi (Pennsylvania State University)
Intramurals and water sports are popular in the Chapter, as of course are supporting the Nittany Lions as a brotherhood. 31 new brothers joined in fall. The current undergraduate brothers of Alpha Psi are facing some strong challenges, including risky campus culture and antisemitic activity.
Beta Alpha Chi (York College of Pennsylvania)
Brothers are very engaged on campus. They are very active with other fraternities and sororities and have philanthropy events specifically designed to engage other Greeks.
For Halloween, their ZBTerror campaign included tabling for Gift of Life, carnival and fall events, car smash and more to support a breast cancer awareness fund.
Beta Phi (University of Pittsburgh)
Recruitment events in early September included wing night, pizza, watching football and time getting to know brothers. Seven new brothers joined in fall.
Brothers spent a morning in September along East Carson Street cleaning up a stretch of adopted highway in Southside. Brothers shared: “Giving back to the community is one of the main pillars of our fraternity and is also a great time for some brotherly bonding.”
Rhode Island
Rho Iota (University of Rhode Island)
The Chapter hosted recruitment events starting over Labor Day, with lots of opportunities to meet brothers. The Chapter continues to navigate a conduct response from 2023 but was allowed to recruit with support from the university.
In early October, brothers hosted a Pie a Zeeb event in front of the Memorial Union and were able to raise over $1,000 for Children’s Miracle Network. They also have been working to support the Nicholas Wihlborg Foundation out of New Jersey, a foundation that works to fight cancer in children and provide support to their families. Events for the Wihlborg Foundation included a car wash, an awareness walk and hoodie merch sales.
Brothers won the intramural softball championships in fall.
South Carolina
Eta Phi (College of Charleston)
Fall recruitment events included a barbecue, yard games and a poker night. Six new brothers joined the chapter in recent months.
The delegates from Eta Phi, Braylon Anderson, 2027, and Jonah L. Liss, 2026, were named Outstanding Delegation at 2024 International Convention.
Tennessee
Alpha Gamma (Vanderbilt University)
The Chapter is active in the campus’ Lights on the Lawn DJ competition. Brother Dylan Cosgrove represented the chapter, which raised $5,000 to support Nashville’s Mary Parrish Center, which provides housing to survivors of interpersonal violence. Brothers also provide support to Next Steps students, who take part in the inclusive and transformative higher education program for neurodiverse young adults.
A team of brothers, the Zeebs, won the intramural football league.
Gamma Mu (University of Memphis)
Brothers are very involved on campus. Tyler Crisp is Interfraternity Council President, and Chapter President Jacob Roaten is also Vice President for Best Buddies. The Chapter came in second in Alpha Delta Pi’s soccer philanthropy.
ZBT recruitment events include barbecue, ping pong and mini golf.
Texas
Lambda (University of Texas at Austin)
The Lambda Chapter has the top active member GPA and the best chapter-wide GPA among all IFC groups at Texas.
Around 150 students were part of a ZBT Shabbat at Chabad in early September. The Chapter is connected with the B Positive Foundation that provides support to kids with cancer and their families.
Virginia
Delta Xi (Virginia Tech)
The Chapter received a Gold rating in the university’s Standards of Excellence program, which recognizes chapters intentionally aiming for excellence which across six certification categories. Congratulations!
The Chapter hosted a 9/11 memorial event with Hillel to learn about and pay tribute to those who were lost in the terrorist attacks in 2001. Brothers enjoy cheering for Tech sports, meals together and outdoor fun.
Phi Epsilon (University of Virginia)
This Prospective Chapter is growing. Students at UVA can only join fraternities after a semester. ZBT is hosting open houses and other events to get to know students before having formal recruitment and Initiation in spring.
Wisconsin
Alpha Kappa (University of Wisconsin-Madison)
Cookouts, lawn sports, water sports and meals together are enjoyed regularly by Brothers. Recruitment events were similar, with cookouts and sports. The Chapter was part of University of Wisconsin Hillel’s recent centennial celebration, and brothers are very involved with Chabad as well. In other student organizations, Brothers are very involved in investment banking and business clubs like TAMID and serve as leaders on the board of organizations like Chabad and Badger Alliance for Israel.
Ontario
Zeta Eta (University of Western Ontario)
Brothers kicked off the semester with a barbecue. They took part in the campus Jewish community’s Oct. 7 memorial service, partnering with Israel on Campus Coalition, StandWithUs, Hillel and more. Brothers took part in a Movember campaign, raising funds to support men’s health awareness.
