Daily Emspirations, The Universe’s Mechanics Demystified
Jay Rubin
Daily Emspirations is an anthology of channeled writings that inspired Brother Jay H. Rubin, Gamma Beta (California State University – Northridge) 1990, by a need to uplift a friend during a troubled time in her life. The book is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and at dailyemspirations.com.
From Brother Rubin: The word “Emspiration” has the positive energetic affect of combining two powerful words, empower and inspire. These daily texts of uplifting words from me to her lead to the compilation of a “mailing list” of other kindred spirits that I felt a calling to touch with a kind gesture and a dose of positive energy to kick off their days. As this routine became a staple in my life and that of my circle, the suggestion was made to me that it would be beneficial for me to share what I gleaned from my Reiki infused writing sessions with a broader audience on social media. Initially, I was resistant, as I was concerned about attuning the message’s vibration to a general frequency for mass consumption. The deeper I pondered the opportunity to make a real difference by paying forward the gifts bestowed upon me with all those who are open to receive, I was able to transcend my concern and post freely, thereby aligning my actions with my intent and desired results. Over a year of daily posts lead me to realize that I would be remiss if I were not to compile the body of the writings in the form of a book to share through other avenues. My primary desire has always been to impart what has been taught to me with not just my immediate cohort, but to create a pathway to help bring an understanding of universal mechanics to a larger audience to help lighten their earthly load and raise the collective vibration for us all. It has been my dream from a young age to make a lasting difference in the world. I know in my heart that these messages I have been asked to carry forward are part of my journey, and I am eternally grateful for the loving support that I received along the way that made it all possible!
Surrender to Your Adversity
Rob Swymer
Like most people, successful executive, life strategist, and author Brother Robert C. Swymer, Delta Chi (Bentley University) 1983, has gone through his share of adversity. Rob illustrates how our internal voice influences every thought, belief and action in his new book Surrender to Your Adversity. By sharing his tough challenges—the unexpected death of a beloved partner, substance abuse, depression, life-long learning disabilities, and other family challenges—Rob demonstrates that whatever adversities we may encounter don’t have to be permanent setbacks. Instead, he shows how even seemingly significant obstacles can be opportunities that allow us to live more gracious, courageous, and authentic lives. Surrender to Your Adversity, released on Monday, April 25 on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and everywhere books are sold. It quickly landed on the best seller list for Amazon.
In the book, Brother Swymer provides a straightforward path for shifting your mindset and improving your resilience in the book. Rob believes if you can change your mindset from the top, the rest of your soul and life will follow. He challenges the reader’s thinking, asking: What if every seemingly negative experience you’ve had was pointing you toward something more significant. What if, inside every challenge, you could find purpose. Robert shares his lessons and maps out steps on how to conquer adversity, build resilience, and move toward a life with purpose.
A native of Boston, Swymer married his first wife, Bonnie, at the age of 21 during the summer of his college junior year. Together, they had three children. In 1994, Rob and Bonnie moved from Boston and headed to Atlanta, where they raised their children and built a great life together.
In 2013, Rob lost Bonnie to a massive brain aneurysm. However, he learned the adversity in his life had given him the strength to endure the loss of a loved one. In 2016, Rob was blessed to find love again and is now married to Melissa. Together they have a blended family of five children and four beautiful grandchildren. Rob and Melissa live in Ponte Vedra, Florida, and enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Brother Swymer is a seasoned sales executive of over 40 years who embodies a servant leadership mindset. He leads his teams with empathy and applies the lessons learned from his adversity to help others build resilience and thrive, not only in business but also in their personal lives.
Rob has enjoyed success in small startups and larger companies, most recently in London as group vice president for a publicly-traded company based in San Francisco.
Rob is a certified life coach and a frequent speaker about overcoming adversity and how to make a living in a beautiful state non-negotiable.
